Although there were quite a few door openings in the barn, some of these needed adapting, either making bigger, converting to windows or requiring new lintels. We also needed some completely new window and French door openings. No easy task for Andrew the builder given the thickness of the walls but they were all completed to spec, with nice new solid stone surrounds.
